Pros

Located opposite Kings Park, providing park views and easy access to walks.

Housed in a historic former police station with unique architectural details.

Free Wi-Fi throughout the property and on-site parking with EV charging.

On-site restaurant offers a full English breakfast and special diet menus.

Ground floor rooms accessible for guests with limited mobility.

Cons

Parking is limited; free on-street spaces are only available between 16:00 and 10:00.

The historic building has limited soundproofing, with reports of noise from adjacent rooms and the street.

“The attention to helpfulness here is notable, with staff making a genuine effort to welcome guests, even late arrivals. It's a building with character, sympathetically maintained, offering good value especially with its comprehensive complimentary breakfast. The advantageous position near the park and town centre is a distinct plus.”
